As we embrace this new year together, let’s celebrate the joy, curiosity, and wonder that each day brings to your early childhood program. Your dedication to nurturing young hearts and minds lays the foundation for a lifetime of learning and growth.
In 2026, we are excited to partner with our Start 1 and Start 2 early learning programs as they grow and develop toward achieving Start 3 and Start 4 designations and full accreditation, strengthening the quality of care and learning for all children. Keystone STARS is Pennsylvania’s quality rating and improvement system designed to help programs continuously enhance their services in areas such as staff qualifications, learning environments, leadership, and family/community partnerships.
Our New Beginnings Initiative focuses on mentoring programs to build success through strategic support in key improvement areas, including:
- Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Keystone STARS, QRIS, and Accreditation Support
- Instructional Practices and Evaluations of Young Children
- Family Engagement and Program-Wide Collaboration
We are here to support you every step of the way as you strengthen your program’s framework, enhance classroom environments, and foster meaningful engagement with families.
